Salernitana president Danilo Iervolino shared his thoughts on the recent 2-2 thriller with Roma at Stadio Olimpico.
In an interview with Radio Serie A, Iervolino declared himself proud of his team and applauded the quality of the game on Sunday.
“The match against Roma was beautiful,” said Iervolino. “Candreva is a great champion and scored two goals with two incredible shots.”
“We’re a bit disappointed because perhaps we should have had a better scoreline, but that’s okay, Roma are a great team.”
“I hope we don’t get into the habit of conceding so late in the game. We must be more focused in order to bring home the result we want.”
