Roma remain interested in Romelu Lukaku as a last minute reinforcement.

After completing the transfer of Sardar Azmoun, the capital club are seeking an additional attacker for Jose Mourinho’s team.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma are not giving up on their dream of acquiring Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea.

Despite a complicated scenario and numerous obstacles along the way, Roma are said to be interested in the possibility of signing Lukaku on loan before the transfer deadline.

The Belgian striker is on his way out of Chelsea and so far his rumored transfer to Juventus has failed to materialize.

Di Marzio claims Roma would be willing to cover all of Lukaku’s wages in a potential loan deal (without any obligation) from Chelsea.

However, for now the Blues continue to push for a permanent transfer for Lukaku and are hoping that the player accepts an offer from Saudi Arabia.
