Roma are currently engaged in talks with Chelsea for the loan transfer of Romelu Lukaku.

Earlier today, club officials flew to London from the Italian capital to meet with the Blues and discuss the conditions that will enable Romelu Lukaku to join the Giallorossi only a few days before the transfer deadline.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma General Manager Tiago Pinto and club Vice-President Ryan Friedkin are currently attending a dinner with Chelsea board members with the objective of reaching an agreement within the next few hours.

Negotiations are revolving around a loan with a buy option included.

Lukaku is currently in Bruxelles, ready to fly to Italy as he has already given his OK after having spoken with Mourinho and the club.

The two clubs have already scheduled a more formal meeting for tomorrow morning with the intent to finalize the agreement.
