Former Roma midfielder Gini Wijnaldum will not be playing in Europe anytime soon.
The Dutch international who concluded an underwhelming loan spell at Roma last season, finally decided to sign a long-term deal with Saudi club Al-Ettifaq.
His signing was made official earlier today as Wijnaldum permanently exits from Paris Saint-Germain.
Wijnaldum – according to several reports in Italy – had unsuccessfully offered to return to Roma on lower wages, but the Giallorossi were not interested in extending his deal beyond last season.
