Chris Smalling’s availability for Sunday evening is questionable for the time being.
The English defender’s status has been worrying Jose Mourinho: for the past few days Smalling hasn’t trained with the rest of the team as he feels his condition is still not optimal after a difficult start to the season.
According to Il Messaggero, Mourinho will make a decision later today regarding Smalling’s involvement in tomorrow’s match.
The newspaper reports that Even Ndicka is heavily favored to make his first start for Roma, replacing Smalling alongside Gianluca Mancini and Diego Llorente.
