Roma are eyeing a potential long-term replacement of Rui Patricio.

With the Portuguese shot-stopper set to depart the Italian capital at the end of this season due to the expiry of his contract, Roma have launched their search for a replacement.

According to calciomercato.com, the Giallorossi are currently prioritizing one of Bundesliga’s finest goal-keepers in Frederik Rønnow of Union Berlin.

The 31-year-old Danish international had been linked with Lazio and is considered one of the best performers in his position in Germany.

Roma GM Tiago Pinto has already contacted Rønnow’s entourage and is hoping to reach an agreement for his arrival next year.
