FIGC and DAZN are ready to launch a special initiative meant to bring more openness the perception of VAR by the general public.

As anticipated a few months ago, the Italian federation and DAZN have agreed to further expand the broadcasting experience for viewers of Serie A.

From now on, DAZN will be allowed to broadcast the referee audio during VAR checks after each match – the broadcast will allow viewers to experience the exchange between the match official and the VAR room.

According to Il Tempo, tonight’s game between Torino and Roma will be the first episode of this occurrence.

AIA President Gianluca Rocchi will also join the broadcast after the game to comment on the audio recordings and explains certain decisions.
