Legendary Roma captain Bruno Conti discussed Romelu Lukaku’s impact at the capital club.
In an interview with Sky Sport, Bruno Conti compared Lukaku to legendary striker Roberto Pruzzo.
“They are both great goal-scorers,” said Conti. “They have different characteristics. I already knew where to find Pruzzo on the pitch and make him score. Lukaku likes to hold up the ball and bring in his teammates.”
“He is a great champion, a great player. Different characteristics, but two great champions,” remarked Conti.
“Mourinho called me? Yes, he may have tried,” he added when asked about Mourinho wanting to include him as a regular member of his coaching staff.
