Jose Mourinho was asked to comment on Romelu Lukaku’s impact on the Giallorossi since his arrival in the summer.
The Belgian striker once again was on Roma’s scoresheet last night versus Servette.
In his post-match presser, Mourinho spoke about Lukaku’s leadership on and off the pitch.
“He’s not only a leader in technical terms. He also gives us something emotionally. He’s got experience and the hunger to win,” Mourinho told reporters.
“He is a positive influence on the team at all levels. We are very happy to have him and after tonight we want to rest him a bit. His physical strength is very similar to his mental strength.”
“Tonight he was lucky to score, but unlucky on another occasion, when he was about to score after a fantastic move.”
