Roma midfielder Houssem Aouar joined his national team earlier today in Algeria after contributing to the Giallorossi’s win over Cagliari.
Upon his arrival in his home country, Aouar responded to some of the local media’s questions.
“Yesterday was a complicated match. There’s great intensity in Serie A,” said Aouar. “The football there is very aggressive and tactical. We won the game because we knew how much we needed those points.”
“I’m also happy that I was able to score – this helps me improve my form for the upcoming games with Algeria. I hope I can help the national team.”
“Do Mourinho’s words motivate me? Yes, always,” he added.
