Roma and the agent of Edoardo Bove are working to extend the midfielder’s contract with the club.

The former Primavera captain has reaffirmed his place in Mourinho’s first team, proving to be a reliable option in the midfield in the absence of Lorenzo Pellegrini and Renato Sanches with 8 appearances so far this season, and only 2 off the bench.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma have made it their priority to renew Bove’s deal until 2027 with a higher salary than the €250,000 he presently earns.

The newspaper claims Roma could finalize the agreement within the end of this month.
