Roma are worried about Sardar Azmoun’s condition after the striker suffered an injury in Sunday’s win over Monza.
The Iran international came on for Andrea Belotti early on in the second half of yesterday’s match and for the most part impressed everyone including Jose Mourinho.
Azmoun helped the team maintain their high offensive line, even hitting the post once.
Unfortunately, Corriere dello Sport reports that Azmoun exited the game with what appears to be a rather serious muscle injury.
In fact, the newspaper claims that the striker injured his calf muscle and could miss the remaining matches, returning only after the next international break in November.
