Roma’s defeat with Inter and Mourinho’s defensive set-up have been criticized by the media reports earlier this morning.

The Giallorossi’s inability to drive the ball forward as well as Romelu Lukaku’s disappointing return to San Siro reflected in the final player ratings released in today’s newspapers.

Sufficient scores were given out to only a handful of players: Rui Patricio, Gianluca Mancini, Bryan Cristante and Edoardo Bove all received an average of 6 out of 10.

In the meantime, Rasmus Kristensen and Romelu Lukaku were voted the worst performers of the night with an average score of 4 out of 10. Lukaku’s failure to control the ball and Kristensen’s lackluster defense on DiMarco on Inter’s goal-scoring opportunity were the principal reasons for their respective ratings.

Others who did not fare well in the media were Diego Llorente, Nicola Zalewski and Leandro Paredes.
