Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini is eyeing a return to the pitch for the Derby della Capitale versus Lazio.
The Italian midfielder missed the last month with a calf injury which has been nagging him for several months.
After being ruled out with Lecce this weekend, Pellegrini is hoping to recover for the crucial Rome Derby.
According to Corriere della Sera, there is a chance Pellegrini might be called up for Roma’s midweek fixture with Slavia Praha in the Europa League.
This would help the Giallorossi skipper get some minutes into his legs ahead of the last match before the next international break.
