Roma will have to train without twelve first team players for the duration of this season’s third international break.

With the likes of Cristante, Dybala, El Shaarawy, Ndicka and Paredes gone, Jose Mourinho is expected to work closely with the few players remaining at his disposal and the ones who have yet to fully recover from injuries such as Leonardo Spinazzola, Lorenzo Pellegrini and Renato Sanches.

According to Il Tempo, Mourinho wants to focus primarily on working with Pellegrini and Sanches and having them back to 100% match fitness ahead of a busy December schedule.

In the Special One’s eyes, Pellegrini and Sanches can be the difference-makers for the Giallorossi, providing the necessary spark in the midfield in order to allow Roma to be more creative going forward.
