Roma do wish to publicly clarify their intentions with regards to the recent rumors of Mourinho willing to discuss a new contract.
In recent days, the Giallorossi head coach was said to be open to the idea of having his contract renewed as the expiry date of his current deal edges closer with each month.
However, Corriere della Sera reports that not only have Roma not made any steps forward in their negotiations with Mourinho’s entourage – the club have made it also clear that they intend to remain silent on the matter.
The club will not engage in any of the rumors and prefer to keep a low profile as the American ownership analyze the team’s progress throughout the season.
