Udinese boss Gabriele Cioffi sounded deflated as he analyzed the way his side conceded two late goals to Roma tonight.

Following Udinese’s loss in the final minutes of the match at Stadio Olimpico, Cioffi shared his thoughts with DAZN.

“We were lacking in the first half, you can’t come to Rome and play a half both without the ball where we were not very aggressive and with the ball where we were not very proactive.”

“With the top teams you always risk conceding, and then everything is uphill. We had an excellent reaction, I’m happy with the second half, the attitude was of a team that knew what to do. The 3-1 result is a bit heavy. Three goals are hard to digest.”

“Roma have more quality and experience than us. That made the difference in the final minutes,” Cioffi added.
