Roma are not the only team to be interested in Salzburg defender Oumar Solet.

The Frenchman caught Roma’s eye a few months ago when the two clubs met each other in the Europa League.

Solet’s defensive skillset and physicality put him on top of Roma’s shopping list for January as the Giallorossi continue their search for an alternative replacement of Chris Smalling.

According to calciomercato.com, however, Solet has also drawn interest from Inter Milan and Atalanta. Both clubs are, similarly to Roma, in need of additional defensive reinforcements in the upcoming transfer window.
