The CEO of the Saudi Pro League commented on recent rumors linking Jose Mourinho with a big-time move to Saudi Arabia.

Despite rejecting maxi offers from Saudi in the summer, Mourinho is said to be increasingly destined to leave Europe for the Middle East in the near future.

In an interview La Repubblica, Carlo Nohra – the CEO of the Saudi Pro League – said, “We need the best managers to join us. No matter where they come from, we will raise standards wherever we can. This is what we are going to look for. And ideally we would also like to develop Saudi coaches to be internationally attractive.”

“Mourinho? He said it himself that he will join us, didn’t he?” added Nohra.
