Roma striker Romelu Lukaku praised his team in tonight’s winning effort over Napoli at Stadio Olimpico.

The Belgian striker put the game to sleep in the final minutes, scoring off an assist by Evan Ndicka.

“I think it was a complicated match,” Lukaku told DAZN after the game. “But we played it with experience and maturity and sometimes with quality. In the second half I think we deserved to win it.”

“Pellegrini? I think he’s a player who helps the team, who helped me when I first arrived. I’m happy for him for how he worked this week and for his professionalism, he deserved the goal tonight.”

“It is important to win these matches if you have ambitions of finishing fourth or higher. The ambition must always be to reach higher and do everything to win these next few matches.”
