Roma are said to have inquired about Genk starlet Bilal El Khannouss who is currently rated as one of Europe’s most exciting talents.
The 19-year-old has caught the attention of several top European clubs following an explosive start to the season: 3 goals and 3 assists across 20 appearances in Belgium’s top flight.
According to Le 360 Sport, Roma are among the clubs to have shown interest in the Moroccan midfielder who is set to depart for his first AFCON tournament in the coming days.
Other teams to have made inquiries for him include Atletico Madrid, Leipzig, Benfica, Marseille and Galatasaray.
Genk’s estimated asking price, however, is quite elevated: the Belgian club are seeking around €35 million for the El Khannouss.
