The entourage of Renato Sanches are at work to find the Portuguese midfielder a new club to join as the player is expected to leave Roma earlier than anticipated.

As reported in Italian media, Roma have made the decision to part ways with Sanches already in January as the player failed to convince the club’s management in the first few months of his loan from PSG.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Jorge Mendes – the agent of Sanches – is already looking for a new destination for the 26-year-old. Only then will Roma and PSG formalize the termination of his loan.

Renato Sanches’ negative adventure in the capital can be summarized simply through his numbers. The Portuguese played just 9 games between the championship and the Europa League, for a total of 228 minutes and scoring just one goal, on his debut against Empoli. Later, the player was plagued with injuries which prevented him from ever truly fitting into Mourinho’s starting XI.
