After the withdrawal from talks for Leonardo Bonucci, Roma have shifted their attention to another defender.

According to today’s edition of La Repubblica, Chelsea centreback Trevoh Chalobah is Roma’s next objective for the defense in January.

The Italian newspaper claims the positive relations between the Giallorossi and the Blues could facilitate a loan deal for Chalobah who has been faced with limited playing time due to an injury-inflicted absence.

Chelsea still value Chalobah around €50 million but the player is need of minutes and could therefore go on loan for the remainder of the season.
