Roma are reportedly targeting Monza technical director as Tiago Pinto’s long-term replacement at the club.
Given that the Portuguese General Manager seems destined to depart the Giallorossi after this January window as his contract is set to expire in a month from now, Roma CEO Lina Souloukou is currently compiling a list of potential replacements.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Modesto is the first name on Souloukou’s list.
The pair worked together at Olympiakos and remained in touch throughout their recent stay in Italy.
However, Monza are standing in the way of Modesto joining Roma anytime soon.
For the time being, Monza are reportedly set on keeping the promising young executive who has also been approached by other clubs as well.
