Leonardo Spinazzola is increasingly unlikely to depart Roma in January.
The Italian fullback has been long linked with a move away from the capital club after talks for a new deal were never picked up by Roma.
The Giallorossi seem very unhappy with Spinazzola’s output and performances over the last year and decided not to pursue any further negotiations with the player’s entourage.
However, despite being linked with Saudi Arabia and the likes of Galatasaray and Aston Villa – who are said to have inquired for him in the summer – Spinazzola is looking to leave Roma as a free agent, reports Corriere dello Sport.
The 30-year-old has failed to attract concrete offers in this window, and Roma seem to have focused on securing the exit of Renato Sanches in stead.
Spinazzola and his agent hope to attract more interest in free agency, after the conclusion of his 5-year spell in the capital.
