AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli once again came out victorious in a direct clash with Mourinho’s Roma.
The Italian manager discussed his side’s 3-1 victory over the Giallorossi.
“We should have closed the match when we were up 2-0, then there was a bit of tiredness but we managed it well and the third goal gave us more serenity at the end”, Pioli told DAZN after the match.
“I believe that the attacking wingers did the work that is required of them, we make the full-backs work a lot,” he continued.
“We tried to wait for them a little longer so as not to give them depth, we had a decent defensive phase but we could have done it better, like on the penalty for them. But from a tactical point of view we were balanced.”
