Jose Mourinho and his staff are no longer in charge of Roma following the Friedkins’ decision to sack him.
The American owners felt the team’s results and performances were unacceptable and ultimately decided to part ways with the Special One with immediate effect. Talks are on-going with Daniele De Rossi to replace him.
In the meantime, Sky Sport reports that Mourinho’s assistant and team vice-manager, Salvatore Fotti, arrived at Trigoria minutes ago to empty his locker and bid the team farewell.
Foti joined Mourinho’s staff in January 2022 and will also leave Roma with immediate effect.
