RomaPress – After two-and-a-half years, Jose Mourinho’s time with Roma is officially in the books. The Giallorossi decided to dismiss the Special One late Tuesday morning, ending his stint after 138 games in charge across all competitions.
While most Roma supporters will remember him for winning the club’s first and only European trophy in May 2022, Mourinho’s tenure was statistically among the worst of his managerial career.
His average of 1.70 points per match (68 wins, 30 draws, and 40 defeats) is tied for the lowest of his career. In fact, it’s the same points average he attained in his 20-match stint with Portuguese side Leiria during the 2001/02 season prior to his departure for Porto.
