Cagliar boss and ex-Giallorossi man Claudio Ranieri shared his opinion on the much talked about exit of Jose Mourinho from the Italian capital.
In his recent press conference appearance for Cagliari, Ranieri was asked about the situation at Trigoria with legendary player Daniele De Rossi taking on coaching duties until the end of the season.
“I’m sorry for Mourinho, Roma lose a great leader in him. With him, they won an international trophy,” declared Ranieri. “And every time they played the Olimpico was sold out.”
“De Rossi? I wish Daniele to conquer as a coach everything he conquered as a player,” he added.
De Rossi concluded his career at Roma with Claudio Ranieri on the sidelines for the final stretch of the 2018/19 campaign.
