Daniele De Rossi addressed Roma supporters following the Giallorossi’s recent win over Hellas Verona.

The legendary club captain made his debut as Roma’s head coach on Saturday night after replacing Jose Mourinho earlier in the week.

After the match, De Rossi wrote a message on Instagram and dedicated it to the fans of the club, urging them to band together.

“I will never forget the voices, the looks and the hugs from last night,” wrote De Rossi.

“But above all I will not forget the players, the fans and every single member of the club, people who accompanied me and made sure that this evening was incredibly full of love for me.”

“We often talk about points to score or qualifications for this or that cup, but the most important objective to achieve is to bring the team, fans and club back to being one. Because then for many of us there is really only one thing that unites us: Roma.”
