In addition to ex-Tottenham and Leipzig executive Paul Mitchell, Roma are also targeting Bayern Munich’s Marco Neppe.
The German technical director is currently in the process of terminating his long-term contract with Bayern after spending the last ten years there. Internal struggle and miscommunication led Neppe to take this decision and become a free agent.
According to Il Messaggero, Neppe is Dan and Ryan Friedkin’s first choice to replace Tiago Pinto who is set to leave Roma in the next two weeks.
Neppe is a high-level profile among executives in his field, specialized in scouting – having discovered, among others, the likes of Musiala and Davies – who also has several job offers from the Premier League – primarily from Manchester United who however would not give him the carte blanche that he would have in Trigoria.
