Iranian attacker Sardar Azmoun has made his return to the Italian capital ahead of Saturday’s showdown with Inter.
The 29 year-old striker has been on international duty since last month with Iran competing in the Asian Cup. However, Iran were eliminated from the competition on Wednesday after they fell 3-2 to defending champions Qatar in the semi-final at Al Thumama Stadium. As a result, Qatar will face Jordan in the final on Saturday at Lusail Stadium.
Earlier today, Azmoun was present for Roma’s last training session prior to tomorrow’s matchday. According to Sky Sport, Azmoun regularly trained with the rest of the team and is at Daniele De Rossi’s full disposal for tomorrow night.
