The Italian federation are looking to the episode that involved Inter defender Francesco Acerbi in the recent win over Roma.

Francesco Acerbi would in fact have raised his middle finger towards the Giallorossi fans due to some chants about his past in Lazio after he scored the opening goal of the night.

The Federal Prosecutor’s Office, as reported by calciomercato.com, has opened a file on the incident and Acerbi who will be interrogated in the next few days.

It is likely that he will reach a plea agreement, with a fine for Inter Milan and heavy fine against the Nerazzurri defender. Failure to do so may result in a disqualification.
