Daniele De Rossi is seriously considering giving second-choice goal-keeper Mile Svilar a chance.

Following Rui Patricio’s repeated mistakes over the last few weeks – which culminated in a horrid display versus Inter Milan – De Rossi is reportedly eyeing a chance in Roma’s sticks.

According to Corriere dello Sport, there are on-going discussions between De Rossi and his staff with regards to the possibility of Mile Svilar starting ahead of Patricio in Roma’s upcoming Europa League playoffs with Feyenoord.

Despite his veteran presence, Patricio’s underwhelming season could end up further increasing Roma’s instability. As a result, Svilar might be the Giallorossi’s safest bet for the time being.
