Roma defender Chris Smalling is expected to be called up for the second consecutive time ahead of the first leg of the Europa League playoffs with Feyenoord.
After making his appearance since September on the team bench on Saturday versus Inter, Smalling is now looking to make the trip to Holland with the rest of his teammates.
According to Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, Smalling was regularly involved in today’s group training session and seems to be doing fine physically despite rumors of apparent muscle soreness.
