Roma are reportedly the main club to have inquired about Alex Meret ahead of the summer window.
The Napoli goal-keeper has been the subject of several transfer rumors linking him with an exit from the Partenopei in June.
After failing to reach an agreement for a new deal with Napoli, Meret is now keen on exploring other options in Serie A.
According to calciomercato.com, in case his departure from Napoli were to go into effect, Roma would be the heavy favorites to land Meret.
The Giallorossi are still looking for a long-term replacement for Rui Patricio who will leave the Italian capital as a free agent.
Another alternative is Lecce’s Wladimiro Falcone.
