Daniele De Rossi was not happy with how the team approached the first 45 minutes of tonight’s victory over Frosinone.
The Giallorossi lacked ideas and seemed to suffer Frosinone’s pressure in the opening half.
As a result, De Rossi confronted his team and applied several substitutions to start the second half.
According to Italian journalist Francesco Balzani for ForzaRoma.info, De Rossi unleashed on the players involved in the first half at half-time, telling them, “We are here to win. We are here to win games.”
De Rossi’s motivational cries were heard by staff and media members in the hallways of the Benito Stirpe stadium. The coach’s instructions led to a positive second half which ended in a satisfying 3-0 win.
