Roma boss Daniele De Rossi was asked to share a few thoughts minutes from kick-off to tonight’s crucial must-win Europa League match with Feyenoord.
In his pre-match interview with Sky Sport, De Rossi discussed the team’s attitude heading into tonight’s duel.
“We always prepare a similar approach, then we change some players but we always try to go and attack our opponents, recover the ball and then when we recover it do a bit of what everyone else does,” said De Rossi.
“With Gimenez and Timber back, Feyenoord have changed shape. They have also changed because they put Nieuwkoop up front who is a full-back. We’ll see if they play 5 behind, but I don’t think so. Maybe they will play with a more defensive player up front. They raised the quality of their line-up, no doubt about it.”
“If we don’t have courage at home with the full stadium, we have done something wrong in our approach and in our work.”
