Former Italy midfielder and Juventus manager Andrea Pirlo spoke with fondness about his friend and Italy teammate, Daniele De Rossi, in an interview with Sky Sport.
Pirlo – who is currently at the helm of Sampdoria in Serie B – had this to say about De Rossi’s early impact as a coach with Roma:
“I’m very happy for him, he’s doing very well,” said the legendary midfielder.
“He gave a very specific imprint to the team despite the little time at his disposal. I just wish him the best of luck, but he definitely knows what he has to do to earn his long-term place in the club.”
