Roma defender Chris Smalling was finally able to return to the team’s starting line-up as Daniele De Rossi and his men squared off against Torino.
The English centreback was given the chance to start for the first time since September – his lengthy absence ultimately came to an end, and Smalling was able to play alongside Gianluca Mancini and Evan Ndicka in Roma’s 3-2 win over Torino.
After the match, Smalling celebrated the victory with a post on Instagram.
“There’s no better feeling than winning with my team!” wrote the veteran defender.
