Chris Smalling and Renato Sanches will not be involved in this week’s Europa League fixture with Brighton.
The two players are still dealing with injuries they picked up a week ago in training.
Over the last few days, Smalling and Sanches continued individual sessions of physiotherapy but will be unable to make the trip to England as Roma look to advance to the next round of the Europa League competition, reports Corriere della Sera.
On the other hand, Paulo Dybala and Rick Karsdorp are fully available and will make De Rossi’s squad list on Thursday night.
