Roma attacker Sardar Azmoun is facing yet another injury suffered while away on international duty during today’s match with Turkmenistan.
The 29-year-old went down before half-time with an apparent muscle injury.
Azmoun – who had scored the opening goal of the night – was unable to continue playing and came off a few minutes later.
He is expected to return to Rome to undergo further assessment of the injury.
