Roma are reportedly unsure of what to do about Diego Llorente’s future.

The capital club signed the Spanish centreback on another temporary deal from Leeds United in the summer of 2023.

Since then, the Spanish defender has come through for the capital club, filling in for Chris Smalling whose extensive absence continues to loom over Roma’s season.

During this year’s campaign, Llorente recorded 34 appearances across all competitions, scoring 1 goal and collecting 1 assist along the way.

According to La Repubblica, however, Roma are reconsidering the initial plan of activating Llorente’s option and making his transfer permanent: for now, the Giallorossi are not too convinced of Leeds’ demanded €5 million pricetag.
