The future of Spanish defender Dean Huijsen is yet to be deciphered.

The 18-year-old is entering the final weeks of his loan at Roma and in all likelihood will make his return to Juventus once the season winds to an end.

Roma are said to be still trying to find a way to keep him for at least another season on an extended loan deal from Juve.

The Bianconeri, however, are not keen on the idea and would rather sell the talented youngster for a hefty sum or rely on him next season.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Borussia Dortmund have entered the race for Huijsen in the past few days.

The German side are in contact with Juve and the player’s entourage to assess the player’s availability in the summer.

So far, Huijsen has collected 13 appearances for Roma, scoring 2 goals.
