Yesterday was a difficult day not only for Roma defender Evan Ndicka and the entire Roma family, but also for ex-Giallorossi player Matias Viña and Flamengo.

The Uruguayan left back, who moved from the Italian capital to Flamengo in January, suffered a strong head contusion after colliding with Adriano Martins in the match against Atletico Goianiense.

The latter was immediately bandaged and taken to hospital, while the former Giallorossi player, who initially sat on the bench to recover, but eventually collapsed, prompting his immediate hospitalization.

Fortunately, the tests to which the player was subjected did not reveal any head trauma or other worrying clinical situations, ruling out the possibility of brain damage. Viña will therefore be able to return home and, soon, also to the pitch.
