Stephan El Shaarawy continues to be a well-rounded powerhouse for Roma in their journey to the club’s third consecutive European semifinal.

The Italian winger was once again among the best performers for Daniele De Rossi’s team in last night’s winning effort against Milan.

In the match, El Shaarawy provided his team with precious defensive coverage following Zeki Celik’s red card and numerous bursts of energy on the attacking end of the pitch as Roma held onto their lead.

According to Francesco Balzani for ForzaRoma.info, this season saw El Shaarawy deliver some of the more consistent and impressive statistics of his whole career.

At 31 years of age, El Shaarawy has completed 16 ball recoveries, 21 goal-scoring chances and 5 assists in Roma’s current Europa League campaign so far.
