Roma manager Daniele De Rossi praised his team following last night’s win over Udinese.
In his post-match interview with Roma TV, De Rossi made now secret of how proud he was of the players’ efforts.
“I thanked the players, I can’t say enough good things about these lads,” said De Rossi.
“They never stop. They lost to Inter, Brighton they responded with their heads held high, laser-focused, even those who were absolutely sure they wouldn’t play even a minute like Zalewski or Renato Sanches.”
“I don’t know if we will be able to go to the Champions League, but in any case these players can look at themselves in the mirror with their heads held high, because we have been chasing this objective for three months, we are feeling exhausted but they still persevere because they are great professionals and great players.”
