Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes will not feature in tonight’s showdown with Napoli.
The Argentine is set to serve his suspension for this weekend’s Serie A matchday and has therefore stayed behind in Rome, awaiting Roma’s upcoming first leg of the Europa League semifinals with Bayer Leverkusen.
However, despite being suspended, Corriere dello Sport reports Paredes has continued to train individually and is also expected to continue his work-outs at Trigoria later today.
The player wants to be fully ready for Thursday’s crucial Europa League fixture and knows Daniele De Rossi considers him one of the most important players in the team.
