Angelino describes ‘huge disappointment’ following Roma’s Europa League drop

Spanish fullback Angelino discussed the huge disappointment that followed in the aftermath of Roma’s 4-2 (Agg.) loss to Bayer Leverkusen.

The Giallorossi wide man was interviewed at full-time by Rai Sport.

“It’s a huge disappointment for us to go out this way. We did everything we could and it didn’t help.”

“We fought, there were a few too many mistakes, but I’m proud of the team. We wanted to go out differently. With our heads held high.”

“Atalanta? We need to immediately recover our physical and mental energy, it will be the first of three finals, it will be the most important and we can’t make any mistakes.”
