Milan manager Stefano Pioli spoke about the Rossoneri’s failed objectives this season and more specifically about their early elimination from the Europa League at the hands of Roma.
During today’s pre-match press conference, Tuttomercatoweb quotes Pioli as saying, “I was also made fun of for saying that Atalanta were one of the favourites this year and now look at where they are.”
“This year we have shown that we are still far from teams like Inter, City and Real. But I don’t want to talk about the future. This year we didn’t come close to Real and City, but we are not far from Atalanta and Roma.”
“The biggest regret this year are the two matches against Roma,” he added.
